HA2 Alarm

HA2 Alarm HA2 alarms should be addressed as soon as possible, otherwise permanent damage may occur to the compressor. CellarPro cooling units are designed to trigger an HA2 alarm when the temperature at the condenser coils gets too hot. HA2 alarms generally occur when   The temperature at the rear of the cooling is too warm, Airflow at the rear of the cooling unit is restricted, The thermal load of the wine cellar or cabinet exceeds the capacity of the cooling unit, and/or The latent load of the wine cellar is overwhelming the cooling unit When your cooling unit flashes an HA2 alarm, please do the following: Make sure the cooling unit is installed properly; ie the wine cellar cannot be exposed to any of the air intake/exhaust from the rear of the cooling unit, and the air intake/exhaust from the front of the cooling unit must be completely captured inside the wine cellar Check for appropriate ventilation at the rear of the cooling unit Make sure there aren't any obstructions to the intake and exhaust at the rear of the cooling unit. Clean the condenser coils and/or replace the filter at the rear of the cooling unit. Cool off the ambient environment at the rear of the cooling unit Turn off or remove any sources of heat inside the cellar (eg wine coolers, steam humidifiers, certain lighting) Raise the Minimum Set Point to 60°F Increase the Fon setting Check for any gaps where the cellar door closes against the doorframe If these actions do not resolve the issue, please contact us or reply to this email and provide the following information: The dimensions (L x W x D) of the wine cellar (or cabinet)  The dimensions of the area in which the cooling unit is ventilated The dimensions of any glass walls, windows or doors in the cellar, and the type of glass (single or double pane) The temperature in the area outside the cellar The number that appears when you press the "SET" button for three seconds We look forward to assisting you!
