HA2 Alarm

HA2 Alarm

CellarPro cooling units are designed to trigger an HA2 alarm when the temperature of the condenser coils exceeds 125 degrees. This may be happening because the wine cooling unit is operating in a very warm environment.

If your cooling unit triggers the HA2 alarm and you just recently received and started operating your CellarPro cooling unit, do the following:

  • Check for appropriate installation and ventilation
  • Make sure there aren’t any obstructions to the intake and/or exhaust vents.

If the alarm happens in conjunction with hot ambient conditions, and/or the cooling unit has been operating for several months without any problems and the alarm happens “out of the blue”, do the following: , do the following:

  • Clean the condenser coils on the back of the cooling unit.
  • Cool off the ambient environment by placing a fan in the area of the condenser coils
  • Raise the Minimum Set Point to 60°F until temperatures cool down
  • Increase the Fon setting

If these actions above have not resolved the issue, you you can increase the alarm setpoint as a measure of last resort:

  • On the control panel, press and hold the "SET" and "DOWN ARROW" buttons together for 3 seconds.
  • Release when the display starts blinking.
  • Press and hold (again) the "SET" and "DOWN ARROW" buttons together for 7 seconds ("Pr2" will flash).
  • Using the "UP ARROW" or "DOWN ARROW" button, scroll through the parameters until "AU2" is displayed.
  • Press "SET", then press the "UP ARROW" button until 130 is displayed
  • Press the "SET" button to confirm the setting
  • The temperature will return on the display after a few seconds
