Remote Dixell Controller + Probe UC #37439
Overview
This remote kit allows the LED Display panel to be placed remotely from the unit cooler, inside or outside the cellar. The LED Display panel connects via 18-gauge low-voltage wiring to a power module inside the cooling unit. The kit also includes a 3.5mm jack to accommodate our liquid bottle probe with 10' cord (included), which overrides the air probe on the evaporator coils, thereby allowing the unit cooler to be located remotely and ducted to / from the cellar.
Details
Remote Dixell LED Display Kit + Probe UC (P/N 37438). Our remote Dixell controller is wired to the Dixell power module which is factory-installed inside the unit cooler via 10' of low thermostat wiring*.
Features include:
- Connected via 10 feet of 18-gauge low voltage wiring*
- Can be installed anywhere that's convenient for you, inside or outside the wine cellar
- Provides all features and functionality of the standard controller
- The liquid bottle probe with a 10' cord plugs into a 3.5mm jack on the face of the cooling unit
- Using the liquid probe, the unit cooler can be installed remotely and ducted to/from the cellar
- Kit is comprised of 2 components: the remote LED display and the power module, which is integrated into the unit cooler
- Must be ordered with the unit cooler and factory installed
- Includes a stainless steel wall mounting plate and screws
*If you'd like more than 10 feet of wire, let us know when you checkout in the "special instructions" field. We charge $0.50 per foot after the first 10 feet.
Please note:
- Neither variable speed fans nor the condensate evaporator (not available on all units) are controlled by the standard controller and the remote display/control kit
- The LED display panel has a red (not blue) display
- This item must be purchased at the same time as the unit cooler
