Low Ambient Temperature Kit UC (P/N 37441). When the compressor will be exposed to cold ambient temperatures (generally 40F and below), our low ambient kit includes the following components:

• 45W compressor heater
• Fan cycling switch

Features include:

• Provides protection when ambient temperatures drop below 40F
• When the compressor has a delayed start after a power interruption and the compressor heater is wired hot, it provides protection for compressor inactivity
• Prevents refrigerant migration into the crankcase oil
• Improves refrigeration efficiency in cold temperature conditions
• Parts are shipped loose

Our 45W compressor heater and fan cycling switch should be used when the condensing unit is installed in temperatures below 40F.
